After the success of last year’s event, we are already looking forward to welcoming you all back for our second Christmas shopping event. This year we have even more stallholders, so hopefully you will be able to make a start on your Christmas shopping (either for others or yourself, no judgement here!). I love supporting local and independent makers and businesses, everyone you will see on the day has a real connection with the area and the Homestead, and I hope you love them all as much as I do!
Alongside the shopping we will also be offering mince pies from Botham’s of Whitby. Drinks wise the bar will be open, and we will also be serving mulled wine – I can already smell it now!
Here’s the line up of lovely folk you can buy from:

One of my favourite little spots to head to when I go to Saltburn. Hey Ho and Co is a well thought out and curated gift shop, offering prints, homeware, jewellery and much more.

We first met Kath when she kindly offered to make some plates for the restaurant. We now have what I can only describe as a slight addiction, and a few orders later you will likely have eaten off one of her beautiful pieces if you have been to dine with us.

Cheese maker extraordinaire, Ruth Wells, makes the most wonderful organic cheeses at the creamery in Botton Village. We use the Dale End Cheddar, Summerfield and Moorland Tomme here in the restaurant.

If you need to get your home festive ready, then Cheryl-Ann will be able to help. The woman behind Silk and Purl, will not only be attending the fair, she is also running three wreath making workshops for us in the run up to Christmas.

We are so lucky in Goathland to have a thriving village Post Office. Much more than just a place to post a parcel, they have a gorgeous selection of gifts. Millie will also be joined by her dad who hand carves animals from wood.

Sharing a stall with Hey Ho and Co, we will have items from Further Folk, another local business making inspired outdoor adventure goods, promoting a lifestyle led outside.

Very excited to welcome Geraldine and all her beautiful jewellery. She makes everything by hand using sterling silver, recycled copper and local sea glass.

Find her on Instagram, Kate makes the most captivating and unique prints made from the nature around her. I can see a few of these finding their way onto the walls of the restaurant!

As ever, we will also be supporting our many amazing suppliers by having a little ‘Homestead Stall’ with a selection of gift ideas.
