Friday 1st

Coastal Tasting Menu

 

£95 per person

 

We will be serving a 5 course tasting menu focussing on the wonderful ingredients sourced from the coast, featuring fish, shellfish, sea vegetables and coastal herbs.

Please note due to the nature of the menu, we cannot cater for any dietary requirements.

Wild seabass tart, chili and ginger

Lindisfarne oyster, pickled kohlrabi and dill

Homestead moorland bread, Staithes kipper butter, pickled cucumber

Whitby lobster soup, North sea brown shrimp

Lightly cured mackerel, horseradish, clementines, land cress

Roasted Isle of Mull king scallop, Yorkshire seaweed butter

North sea halibut, Whitby crab and langoustine mousse, crème fraiche sauce, braised fennel

Yorkshire sea salt chocolate cream, brown butter madeleine, mulled blackberries

When reserving a table within the restaurant we ask for card details as security. No deposit is charged at the time of booking. For reservations that are cancelled within 48 hours of the dining time, we reserve the right to charge £20 per person to the card entered when booking

Wreath Making Workshop & Lunch

 

£75 per person

 

Cheryl from Silk & Purl, who is based not far away in Lockton, will lead a 3 hour workshop providing all the materials and know how to help you create your own festive wreath.

Wreath Making Workshop Lunch Menu

Choose from:

Cherry Tree farm Herdwick lamb shepherd’s pie, brassica salad

OR

Penny bun mushroom tagliatelle, Botton Summerfields cheese, brassica salad

Followed by Garden apple and blackberry fool, ginger parkin, cinnamon cream, roasted hazelnuts

Glass of house wine or soft drink, plus tea or coffee to finish also included.

See in the New Year with a delicious tasting menu, this can be tailored to suit vegetarian and pescatarian diets, please just let us know when making your reservation.

Card details are taken as security to confirm your booking. This is at a rate of £50 per person. If you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so without being charged before midnight 30th November 2023. After this date your card will be charged at the agreed rate. Please notify us of any dietary requirements or allergies when making your reservation.
