Homestead Kitchen

Book A Table

Here at the Homestead Kitchen our aim is to offer a taste of the region’s finest ingredients. Peter Neville and Peter Hall worked together 15 years ago and have now teamed up again. They have each worked in some of the country’s best restaurants.

At the Homestead Kitchen our aim is to offer a taste of the region’s finest ingredients:  We want to create a relaxed dining experience where you can enjoy fish landed in Whitby, organic cheese and dairy produce made in the moors, meat from our local butcher originating from moorland farms, and breads made with organic flour milled in the North York Moors.

Alongside the food we are also showcasing some of Yorkshire’s finest drinks products, from gins, vodkas and rums to one of Yorkshire’s first ever single malt whisky distilleries. This range will be complemented by a carefully selected range of European wines.

They said “Ask for a table at the rear of this attractive stone-built former farmhouse so you can look out over the moors. It’s a small place, with a modern country house style, and is proudly run by two experienced chefs. The menu is concise but has plenty of appeal, with refined dishes crafted from local produce.”
